manic mondays
luckily i went home and was bored out of my mind - so in a way i was forced to use the brand new 24 hour sport in glendora. in fact the gym in gtown did little to disappoint. i was surprised by the new age equipment, as well as the lack of participants in the gym. it was as if i had been transported to an exclusive club - and quite frankly i liked it.
liked it so much that i went twice saturday as well as twice on sunday. my brother was back home from school so he helped me use machines i had little knowledge of (specifically the weight based ones) overall it was a surprisingly productive week.
this week i have planned :
Monday - is SHOT i'm hoping to go to the gym after the Angels game today - please help me stay away from hotdogs, nachoes, fries and peanuts.
Tuesday - run in the morning, gym at night?
Wednesday - gym in the morning, yoga, run at night (maybe i can trick myself by switching the routines up)
Thursday - poss just gym?
Friday - gymgymgym before leaving to phoenix. eep. must look sexy for bf. yikes. i hate bathing suits.
Actually a side note for phoenix - I hope that it is in fact hot enough that i can possibly melt away some weight? HAHA. i know wishful thinking.

can somebody say happy hour?
SO i'm back on my veggie kick. yesterday i had: coffee in the morning, grapes + strawberries, coffee #2 in the afternoon - disrupted by leaving work, seeing StarDust and then eating two ricecakes and a frozen yogurt - yes i KNOW that this was not a good eating day for me. but by the time i got home it was like 11pm!
ack. today will be a healthier day - its my dad's birthday and unfortunately he chose this place called "Legends". its fried everything, and if you know me i get nauseous just thinking about the word. i might possibly get away with eating a salad - but who knows the salad may even be fried =(
i'm happy to see the brother - we most likely will work out tonight via treadmill downstairs and workout bench area. i <3 him. he is awesome workout buddy.
i plan to stay away from everything bad this weekend. hopefully there is no cake tonight - but oh i know there will be haha =)

Shame on you!!!
So Courtster! Is trying to make me look bad!
I sooo did NOT tell people to park behind her car...hahah :P
Anyways! Yesterday, I thought I'd kick start my day with a 6:30AM wake up and a bowl of cereal...BAD IDEA!!! Yes, breakfast is an important meal for the day but it was nearly tragic for me! It made me hungry ALL DAY LONG!!! I was a non-stop eating machine! I proceeded to have several granola bars, then a chicken salad sammich on wheat for lunch at 11:30AM, more granola bars, then a banana-strawberry-blueberry-orange smoothie at 3PM, then some veggie chips in between, and before working out some peanuts; and then a spinach salad for dinner (not to mention some meatballs with that salad and some chips). PHEW! Can you say hungry?! G'lord! That cereal seriously did a number on me!
The work out was good yesterday! It was Chest and Tricep day! Did some bench, decline press, flys, tricep extensions, various types of sit ups and...RUNNING! I think that my having cut out the post workout cardio was a keystone to my losing weight in the previous months! Albeit I ran for only 10 minutes or something but it's a start! I think I lost my endurance though cause I used to be able to run a good 15-20 w/o coughing up a lung and now...it's just harder! Oh well time to throw in some more running. Was thinking of kicking it up a notch and running on my non-gym days...Whatcha think?!

bringing back the xxx's
so without further delay here is a good nutshell version of yesterday:
trotting out of my apartment yesterday - workout gear in hand - pink ipod in play i came upon a slight obstacle. as i approached the carport i saw that two bitches had parked their trucks right in back of mine, blocking me in. at first i thought that mr. sexy had in fact played the game well and hired these two ugly beasts to prevent my gym-going, but i dismissed the thought and started blaring my horn. long story short - i met a neighbor who didn't own the truck, i now have a lunch date on thursday, i know who the two bitches are that own the truck, and i got to the gym and thus worked out extra hard from sheer happiness.
Plan for today is to hit the gym hard today, possibly take a yoga class and run at night. This of course is simply a blueprint for today - we'll see if the construction goes through =)

20 pounds in 2 months for $200...
So Courtster! (aka the Fag Hag) and I agreed there had to be some sort of way to quantify our goal. So we came up with an agreement that in the span of two months, whomever loses 20 pounds (or whomever gets closest to it) will win a prize of a $200 shopping spree to go with that new body!
It's getting late, but tomorrow kicks off our two month stint to compete for that coveted prize! Wish us luck! :D Court is gonna post next...
